ORIGIN |The Beginning

ARCESYS was born out of a very practical purpose: the creator's endless passion for Pokémon. This website is the breath, the original vibe of the creator, which is why it often carries a minimalist, inspiring, and slightly mysterious style. So, instead of just looking at the core of the website, you can catch a glimpse of the creator's personality and character.

Fascinated by the animal kingdom since childhood, he naturally developed a unique love for Pokémon. He grew up alongside the very early days of Pokémon (Pokémon Red/Blue). As his passion grew, it didn't stop at just playing games; it evolved into an enthusiastic curiosity and eventually led to the deep research state he is in today.

Then, a sense of restlessness began to appear. He had so much data in his head, everything linked together into a tight, unified block, but there was nowhere to present or store all this information. He used to keep his knowledge in personal slides and Google Drive folders. It went so far that in every Pokémon game he played, he collected every species and meticulously controlled their stats to the extreme. Everything he did was just to satisfy the craving to share this massive amount of knowledge. He had always dreamed of his own personal website—a customized territory just for him.

And so, ARCESYS was born. ARCESYS is like a location, a place where all the Pokémon data running through the creator's mind comes to life. Here, you'll find comprehensive libraries containing data on thousands of existing Pokémon; there will be tools to help users check their team building, and many other features. ARCESYS is a place for everyone who shares the same passion for Pokémon, helping them find answers to whatever they wonder about in this specific field.

In today's fast-paced and busy world, we built this website with one specific message in mind: "To help you play Pokémon in the most scientific way, in the shortest amount of time; to bring you into the world of Pokémon in the simplest yet most comprehensive way possible."

Instead of forcing you to face dry stats or thousands of dense lines of text, ARCESYS was created to eliminate this "headache." We understand that a modern Pokémon Trainer doesn't have the time to decipher data mazes. You need answers, and you need them right now. We can meet this need for you.

Organic Data Flow

We want the information and data at ARCESYS to appear as naturally and smoothly as the breath of the game itself. Everything flows within a unified interface, where stats appear exactly when you need them and hide away when you want to focus. You will feel a sense of comfort when technology no longer "weighs down" your gaming experience, but instead becomes a silent, powerful assistant.

The Technology: Type Balance- Your Tactical Assistant

Whether you're a long-time veteran or a newcomer to the field, balancing the strengths and weaknesses of a 6-member team has never been an easy task. That's exactly why we provide the Type Balance tool—a tactical radar designed specifically for Trainers.

Using this tool is incredibly simple: just type the names and select up to 6 Pokémon to add to your team. Instantly, the system will scan the data and draw an intuitive radar chart. The bright green areas show that your team has a solid defense system, while the red corners will "alert" you to critical vulnerabilities that opponents could exploit.

But the most fascinating part of this machine lies in the Trainer Notes panel. There are no dry stats or tables; it's like having a mentor sitting right next to you, giving advice.

If your team has 3 members weak to Water-type, it will flash a red warning immediately. If you lack a safe switch-in against Fairy-types, it will remind you. Conversely, if your team coordinates well and covers for each other, it will let you know you're doing fine. Especially, the "Type Balance" tool is designed to understand the unique Abilities of each species. For example, it knows full well that a Pokémon with the Levitate Ability is completely immune to Ground-type attacks, and it will factor that into the safety of your entire team. If you want to look at a different lineup, just a simple "swipe to delete" action will clear the whole team so you can start over from scratch.
